Making guest safety a priority at Quest Henderson Apartment Hotel with ReSPR Technologies®
The Covid pandemic has created problems for the hotel industry throughout New Zealand. Providing a safe place to stay, where guests and staff remain well is an issue all hotels face. Especially as the evidence is the problem isn’t going away any time soon.
Nick Simmons, the manager of Quest Henderson Apartment Hotel took a proactive approach to addressing the risk of transmission of SARS-COV-2, and engaged Titoli to undertake a detailed air and environmental quality assessment the hotel.
“Titoli revealed so much about the air and surface quality in our hotel. The information we received about the buildings ventilation system was quite staggering really. The frightening bit is that I don’t think our buildings ventilation system is an outlier.
We received a clear understanding about the ability of our ventilation systems to filter SARS-COV-2 from the air, and key current scientific literature that explains how the transmission of SARS-COV-2 occurs indoors. It was very clear that the system in our buildings was unable to adequately prevent the transmission of SARS-COV-2, especially with the amount of guests and contractors we have moving within the buildings on a daily basis.“
